#21 of 52 projects

One more to to then I'll be caught up with the 52 projects.

Components: Heart shaped glue resist. Wash of blue and green fabric paint. Blah! White paint splatters. Still blah. Needle felted heart, black stitching and hand made copper button. Much better.

Learned: basic straight stitching works well for a simple quilted effect. Making copper buttons from copper flashing is well worth the time!

Hi Gail. I really, really like this piece. The felted heart looks so good against the background of the glue resist heart, and the heart copper button is very cool and just the right touch. The white splatters are great too. All very well done.

I used some clear glue on muslin yesterday, but that's all I got done. I had to let the glue dry. I hope to work on it more today.

Yet another heart eh? This is my fav so far it looks as though it's popping off the fabric. Excellent piece. How did you get the white on the piece?

This is really nice. It almost looks like a watercolor on paper.
