Wonderfulicious Wednesday

Photographing what presents itself in the yard continues . . . .
Night-blooming Cereus photographed at midnight.
Definitely Queen of The Night!

For the next 7 blooms
I need to find the tripod!
The image below was taken with the iPhone.

And of course I have to blend
and manipulate  . . .

Backyard residents.

I have been known to venture outside
of the backyard. 1997, Arles, France.

oh... these are so stunning! The top one is far more sparkly here than on FB, perhaps it is the grey background on the blog, but the sunflowers, birds ... all so beautiful!!! xox

What a special art practice...tiptoeing out...seeing and photographing these beauties. It's as if you are in on a miracle, a secret revealed to you. There is a silence and a vulnerability in our gaze...well done Gail.

Ours is just budding right now. Should be out in a day or two. They are magnificent.
