ReplyDeletePerhaps it is the added netting but the flat surfaces between the raised ones (how it appears to me in the photo) remind me of tide pools.

ReplyDeleteI have to say the red also speaks to me this is an awesome piece. I love how you see the texture and it meanders through the piece, but also what is below the texture is beautiful also.
