Found some odd metal, roof tiles, at the home improvement store so tossed a couple into a vinegar, water and salt bath and the next day wrapped a scrap piece of muslin around the already rusting metal and drenched it with more vinegar. Two days later glorious patterns had printed onto the muslin including the price tag on the back side! At first I was upset by that and then I thought that maybe it might be a good idea for a resist. Very, very cool, Gail. These are really great! Now tell me, was the roof tile made out of metal? Is that what you used to rust these? I'm a bit confused. Anyway it was well worth your effort, to end up with these. Just wonderful.
